Nail Polish Thinner is a special chemical formula that is added very sparingly to thickened nail polish to make it less clumpy. When thinner is added, nail polish will be restored to fluid and will be smooth to use. If your nail polish has become thick and gloopy, try adding Nail Polish Thinner a couple of drops at a time and shaking well.
Be cautious with how much you add – just a couple of drops for a start. Add more drops as required but you don’t want to make the nail polish too thin or it will not cover properly, and too much thinner could be a bit harsh on your nails. Add just enough to restore the consistency to smooth.
Storing Nail Polish – To avoid your nail polish becoming clumpy and thick, it is best to store your nail polishes in a cool dry place, (not the bathroom as it is steamy at times) always standing upright and with lids on firmly to avoid the polishes becoming thickened over time or leaking out of the lid. Every time you use a nail polish ensure the lid is returned onto the bottle as soon as possible. Keeping them airtight and upright is important.
